Freshers’ Tips: Do and Join Everything

Many universities have already started their freshers’ week. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and, more importantly, to get to know the people you will be studying with over the duration of your course. Each day until the end of September we will be providing you with a helpful tip to maximise your freshers’ week and avoid any embarrassing situations.

fin-10-tios-freshers_44134tMake sure you get involved with absolutely everything. The spontaneity of freshers’ week makes it what it is – an incredibly enjoyable week accompanied with some of the worst headaches you will have ever felt.

You’ll be invited to take part in a lot of events, societies and clubs – do them all! Getting involved will not only allow you to meet a bunch of weird and wacky freshers but will also give you a great conversation talking point – something to break the ice.

If you have every intention of getting involved from the start then your uni life will certainly be maximised, just don’t forget about the assignment due Monday…
